Hey! I’m Jennifer
I caught the travel bug in college on my first international trip and haven’t stopped exploring since. Since 2017, I’ve been traveling internationally with my family, learning what works, what doesn’t, and how to create memorable experiences without the stress.
I created teamJtravels to help families make travel a reality with their kids now—not when they’re older. Through thoughtful planning, practical strategies, and family-friendly itineraries, I want to make it easier for you to explore the world together.
My Daily Travel Inspiration
Travel has taught me that the best family adventures don’t always come from following a perfect itinerary. Sometimes it’s discovering a new place, stopping at a playground to recharge, enjoying an unexpected local experience, or watching your child experience something completely new.
I’ve learned how to balance thoughtful planning with flexibility, choose experiences that are actually worthwhile with kids, and find destinations that offer incredible experiences without unnecessary crowds or stress.

With a doctorate in education from an Ivy League institution and decades of experience in teaching, consulting, and educational leadership, I bring a unique perspective to family travel.
I see travel as one of the greatest classrooms available to children. Every destination offers opportunities to ask questions, explore new ideas, understand different perspectives, and develop empathy. My goal is to help families turn their trips into experiences that are not only fun, but meaningful.
I’ve visited more than 30 countries, including 14 since becoming a mom, and I’m excited to use everything I’ve learned to help your family travel with confidence.
The Trip Guru
Friends and family call me the “trip guru” because of my organized plans and carefully designed itineraries. I love researching destinations, planning routes, finding family-friendly experiences, and working through all the logistics before you ever step onto the airplane.
Most importantly, I want to help parents who feel overwhelmed by travel planning. You shouldn’t have to spend countless hours researching every hotel, activity, transportation option, and restaurant just to make a family trip happen.
